Thank God, they went back to women’s wheelchair racing. I was getting tired of watching the greatest long-distance runner in the world right now.
The wheelchair commentator is very good at her job. Let me start with a compliment.
But we absolutely need to push back on her being allowed to use the team "Run." She will talk about how they are running a great race. No, they are not. They are wheeling it. This reminds me of the trans talk. Language has to be factual. If we don't have a society of facts, then we don't have a society
i didn't see any of this because they were showing the womens wheelchair race during these moves
I turned on the race around 945am to catch the second half. I have seen about 2 minutes of the men's race and 1 minute of the women's race in the last 18 minutes, as most of it the coverage has been the women's wheelchair race and an interview of the men's wheelchair leader. I truly don't want to be an a**hole or lack compassion but it is really beyond comprehension to me.
The coverage has actually been pretty good over the entire race. Especially if you compare to Boston.
CJ Albertson said on the “Nobody Asked Us” podcast that he wants to beat Rupp. They were even with each other awhile ago, but Rupp is now ahead. Projected finish times are 2:08:52 for Rupp and 2:09:04 for Albertson.

Nothing new: The Chi Marathon coverage is terrible, as usual. Tech issues, amateur production. Mute all and hope they at least stay on the leaders till the end.
