Nice improvement for them but I thought they could’ve medaled this year. Pretty disappointing as an American fan. Kind of like Nico getting fifth - not a bad result but thought he could medal. Unlike Nico though, Hiltz isn’t that young and is probably already in their prime. This might have been their best chance at a medal.
If this was their best chance of a medal which one of them was racing? Or were all of them?
It's okay, I didn't think you'd answer the question, but it does give me reason to discount your opinion even more.
I was referring to another runner who is in the final but saw the comment was about SML. It's against your rules to correct one's own comments?
Perhaps the only significant difference is SML hasn't been caught yet.
Why do you even watch the sport if you're this pessimistic about it and feel the need to literally constantly post things like this? Do you think you're accomplishing anything other than clogging threads with posts?

It isn't pessimism to simply acknowledge facts. We are watching a sport that is rife with doping. WADA groups t and f with bodybuilding, weightlifting and cycling. How clean do you think those sports are?
Really great field competitions today. Kerr and Woo were both clutch, honestly that 2.38 attempt from Woo at the end wasn’t terrible. Katzberg with another ludicrous series in the hammer (his worst throw was 81m???). Fourth place also over 80.
So she's better than the best ever doped athletes in a sport long rife with doping? Interesting.
Kenya might have a shocking drugs problem at the moment.
Not sure you can put Kipyegon in that category though.
She has been racing abroad consistently, at the highest level for 15+ years, taking multiple drugs test outside her country. Not even just 1 race/championship abroad each year but multiple races.
The Kenyan system is very untrustworthy but her biological passport is probably the most consistent of any Kenyan in history.
That “untrustworthy” Kenyan system is the only one making significant progress against doping catching actual cheats. The rest of the world’s systems are just dressing.

Yes - and no. Doping is everywhere but the rate of Kenyan violations is through the roof and shows it's throughout their sport.

Oh come on Kenny, it's not a fair fight.
The country with a million dopers is always going to be winning the battle of 'who can catch the most dopers'.
