I don't know how any brand goes near this guy. It's just a matter of time before he has a public meltdown and becomes a full on untouchable public relations nightmare. He's simply unstable.

He cares soooo much about all these stupid awards and then claims he doesn’t care about winning and it’s all about the “love”. He claims he doesn’t care about treadmill paces but then obsessively tells you about all his treadmill paces. This is problem with liars, they get so confused they forget what they are supposed to care about.

I don't know much about this runner, but his latest video popped up on my YouTube feed. I watched the video thinking he was going to have a nervous breakdown at any moment.
Another thing he and his wife do repeatedly is say something really ridiculous about either how good they are or how sh$tty some other athlete is, then follow it up immediately with a “oh but I’m just joking, of course I don’t think that.” If their bullsh$t coaching business doesn’t work out they should go into politics in Boulder. They could be running that town in no time.

Apparently every shoe company that sponsors athletes would disagree with David... I don't think Leadville offers prize money, so I guess he still an aspiring amateur, i.e., a hobby jogger with a YouTube account
Anyone else find it weird when he told the camera man he loves him when he went off on his warmup in his latest vid? I guess his family could have been behind the camera man, but it was not immediately apparent.

The number of times he directed "I love" at someone during the video was very odd. He came off as unhinged. Maybe he's tired and burning the candle at both ends with the new baby. His demeanor in the video was just... off.

He’s making the podcast rounds and average runners are eating the “no secrets” story up. But who isn’t? Most pros on the scene. The Boulder Boys “god father” comment is the best example. If it’s too good to be true, it’s too good to be true.
