He glossed over the fact that two of congress’ biggest bills passed during the Biden Administration (the American Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act) both required the Vice President to cast the tie breaking vote.

When Fox News is covering the debate in spades, CNN is claiming “there was no clear winner,” and MSNBC is not covering it at all, it’s pretty clear it was a good night for Vance.

this is the story. This needs to be the headline on everything, not lame gotchas on which months walz was in china.

Fact checking VP debate claims from Walz and Vance's 2024 showdown

CBS News is fact checking the biggest claims made by Tim Walz and JD Vance during the vice presidential debate.

We learned that Vance is the more skilled debater and polished at the art of spinning selective facts in a favorable manner for his agenda.

Tim Waltz is not a polished attack dog, but, given the enormity of Donald Trump's character flaws, he was able to hit the target often enough.

Don't expect this debate to move the needle in either direction.

He put on a decent performance last night but he's still weird.

Vance was definitely trying to soften the GOP's image. When talking about abortion he basically said... Hey, we get that you don't like our policies, but we're going to try really hard to not freak you out so much.

Walz got smacked around.

The Border Bill only had $20 million designated. $60 million was going towards Ukraine and another $38 million for other things. Trump's influence, if there was actually any, was probably because we were paying more than NATO countries combined and some NATO countries didn't even fork over the required 2% GDP yet. True border crossings are down because now they are flying them into other POE's and not counting them at the 7 POE's on the actual southern border. Plus, what was the most that crossed in one month, one year for Trump compared to Biden-Harris??? Apples-oranges? So within the last budget bill passed by Biden-Harris, we GAVE Mexico $176 million to stop fentanyl traffic. Yes talk about wasted money and common sense.

MSLSD covered it, and their analysts were actually half way fair to Vance.

But, I switched to News Nation as soon as I could find it.

Never in the history of ever does a VP debate matter or move the needle on an election. This was pointless. And if anyone thinks their guy "won" is so far into the koolaid that they can't even reason properly.
