Imagine coming on a thread where you're being called out for harassing people online, and responding by...harassing people. You seem to be incapable of learning.

Have just emailed SOAR that I'll no longer be purchasing their products. Would rather spend my money on a brand that doesn't support the behaviour of Matt Fox.

I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this with all the Fisher-mania on the message boards, but I nudged SOAR this morning and got a response a couple hours ago. Tbh it's a pretty nothing response:

Naturally sorry to hear of any personal trauma anyone has gone through. Goes without saying that as a brand and business we clearly don’t support discrimination in any respect.

Appreciate this may be semantics to a certain extent – but Matt isn’t a SOAR sponsored athlete or representative at all, nor do we have a permanent or fixed agreement in place. We have worked with Sweat Elite/Matt to simply sponsor and deliver branded content on a case-by-case basis (certain series, campaigns etc). I’m sure you’re probably well aware of this, but recently we’ve been one of the sponsors on the sub 215 series. All our marketing activities in this regard are permanently under review - by definition.

All of this said, our reputation is important to us, and we like to think that we’re a brand and business that does the right thing by people. We’re not huge (yet) by any stretch, we’re very much a small team of humans trying to offer great kit to runners – and get more people worldwide aware of our offer.

As such, we’re looking into this like we’d look into any complaint about our activities, and will weigh up what we think is right, wrong and fair – and the repercussions it may have for us vis-à-vis our customers – in any future marketing."

Happy to relay that Matt has been kicked off and booted from the Chicago club he used to train with (asked them over DM)
