So did Bekele beat his masters record? New masters record?

What does it mean when it says "Peres Jepchirchir smashed the women-only world record by 45 seconds" what even is the women-only world record. I though Tigist Assefa was the women's world record holder in 2.11
Another made up record (not world record) to give out more awards!
My god, I remember thinking that I wasn’t so motivated to watch Tola win and didn’t check the results until 35k.
Then, when I saw Kenny B was leading I stopped everything I was doing and stayed glued to the screen until the end.
what a legend this guy is…
Did Callum Hawkins finish?
Because the women started on their own and not with the men, it's considered a "women's only" event as there were no men on the course.
Right so equally the US are not competitive in the women’s field either then? Since none are hitting the 2.15-2.18 times. My point is - British women are F rate compared to who? British men? Or the Ethiopian/Kenyan women?
He did by 4 secs

2:17:34, obviously far from his best but glad he finished and hope he can be healthy and get back to his 2016-19 form eventually

Emile is so thin and also does not even look happy when finishing 3rd. Not a fan.
He was so happy and emotional. He’s such a nice guy. Give over.
OK why did so many drop out of the men's race but literally zero women dropped out? Six out of eight Ethiopians, Mateiko, Nascimento. Five dropped it seems immediately after Bekele and Mutiso pulled away, makes little sense with prize money still on the table. Did a motorbike or car take them all out? That would at least make sense.
Also no male pacers allowed in women's only race.
depends on who will run in Paris and how they do. If you fail there you still have Berlin or Chicago to have a great race and position.
I wanna know what happened to Tola and Do Nascimiento.
They gave prize money to some Germans and other ones.

2 Germans in the Top 10. And this with 2:10 times. You clearly notice it is a weak elite field at London probably due to Paris happening.
Not quite true. Not the best field ever but still very strong.
It was however an odd race. Majority of the lead pack dnfd or fell away dramatically quite late in the race.

I was a dick for typing that, sorry.
They have been dealt a tough hand and are inspirational people.
Just frustrating them trying to cover, essentially, 4 races at once.
