looks like at least one wonky USA handoff, where were they in the zone?
All were bad but probably clean. Late takeoff on both exchange 1 and 2, indicative of not being coached and not getting the steps right. Exchange 3 takeoff was fine but stick passing technique all wrong. Again, these guys just aren’t being coached
Happy to hear India is getting stronger. Hope they have some young ones coming through the system. It's such a large country with untapped potential
I'll second that India is a sleeping giant to a point as they have had world level competitors in the sprints in the past but the infrastructure for athletics or for any sport but cricket and field hockey is abysmal.
I love the kid, and wish him only the best, but that looked like a pathetic effort.
Was never in it at all, never got close to the front, even off a very slow pace, let himself get pretty badly boxed (why do that on such a slow first lap?), had to make a long, awkward cut to get out, and then looked like he wasn't even competing down the stretch.
Couldn't get too much worse.
I have now officially given up on this generation of US men's half-milers.
