I don't want to read a long statement. Why is Allie still showing up in the Carlsbad results? What had Allie had to say about her ban - nothing? Where is the honesty and transparency. Has she returned the money for her 2nd at Carlsbad? What has SHE said about her ban?
It's more that this isn't a PED. The response would be different if we were talking about Nandrolone. Similarly, I don't think many of us cared when Sha'Carri was busted for pot.
Yeah, I suppose if one were really skeptical, she could have been taking something like nandrolone and then used the acne medication as a masking agent to flush it out of her system quicker. However, given that the masking agent was also a banned substance, it seems pretty foolish. Not out of the realm of possibility for sure, but unlikely to me.
But if this is what happened, the plan worked, didn’t it? She got four months instead of four years.

The important part of this is that it was "an oral acne medication". It's weird how many people defending her on here have posted and said she was using an "topical acne medication" or "zit cream" or "acne cream" etc. Why? Why use misinformation to mislead and make it seem less serious (see the 4th post with 246 upvotes). Why lie about it if the truth is not bad?
BTW Gwen Berry, on the other hand, was using a topical medication which contained it.
Yeah, but IF she were doping, why choose a masking agent that would negate the PED? I don't buy the "she pretended to have an acne problem to get a 'scrip for a detectable diuretic to hide taking steroids" line of thought. If she were such a doping mastermind, you'd think she'd take a masking agent that didn't have negative performance effects.

It doesn't work that way. Masking agents don't magically take away the effects of the PED. Also, if you think Spironlactone will decrease natural testosterone production, what do you think happens when people take steroids? As an example, take Anadrol for a bit and your own testosterone production comes to a dead stop. Are you going to make the equally idiotic argument "why would anyone take Anadrol, it stops their testosterone production"? It's why they need to cycle. I'll also just add that the reason people call for lifetime bans is that the benefits gained by using steroids last potentially decades (see the study by the University of Olso).
Again, I'm not saying she did use a PED, but people spouting out crazy misinformation about why someone would use a masking agent to defend her makes her seem more guilty. Don't do that. Just stick to the simple "forgot to get a TUE" story.

I'm saying that if you a doping mastermind choosing a masking agent as a dope, you'd use one that didn't have negative performance effects. You responded to my post as if you believe all masking agents have negative performance effects. I'm no expert, but I'm assuming that's not true and there are better choices.
Plus, if you were a doping mastermind, you'd just try to get a TUE first. It mades no sense to plan to get caught and have the 'scrip in your back pocket because it is devastating to get caught, whether you are a doper or not. The press release in the OP suggests that the antidoping agency would have granted a TUE in her case.
Don't think we are bringing unique insights in this thread that the antidoping agency hasn't already considered, including them seeing all the things Allie must have submitted to them, plus their expertise dealing daily with both cheaters and unintentional dope positives. Their light sentence and the way the press release was written is the best statement that they believe her lack of intent to cheat. Everything in this thread is by lay people with less knowledge and seeing less evidence.

I didn't notice before it was brought up that she used an oral medication...not a cream. I apologize for calling a cream. Did she also ask her online pharmacist for the oral, rather than topical, application?
One thing thats clear is there are a lot of unanswered questions and if as one poster said she is deleting posts that ask those questions that's hardly being transparent.
The one that sticks out for me is if she was tested that often why would she not check the dro list it take 30 seconds and as she stated she googled to check if it improved performace why did she not see the numerous results saying it was banned that come up on the first page of google when you type that in?
I don't know about that. I think the running YouTube probably pays better than most shoe contracts and certainly the shoe contract she had with Brooks at the beginning of her career. I mean Seth DeMoor was able to retire at 38!

She has ~35k subscribers. In reality that nets you $500 - $700 bucks a month if you have a channel that's in a high paying niche (which changes year over year depending on the algorithm).
