the way that you communicate is so ineffectual and obnoxious that it makes everyone dislike you. If you really want to help a cause you care about, you ought to argue the opposite position because then people will not want to be associated with it.
This sums up woke stupidity perfectly.
Doesn't matter who's right or wrong, only who's on who's side. Pathetic low brow herd behavior. The truth becomes a "right wing" position and therefore false, etc etc.
If "obnoxious" is what it takes to turn you back from a herd animal into a human, so be it.
You misunderstand what I was saying. I actually agree that the Woke are the real racists who have captured the centers of power in our society (corporations, politicians, and the media) in an effort to, among other things, groom children and teach white kids that they are oppressors.
The problem I was addressing was that Adult in the Room is so off-putting and, yes, obnoxious that fewer people are going to see the truth. Because of him, more people are likely to believe that Woke is a vague phantom pushed by right-wing outrage machines for clicks and cash.
His inability to connect with others and put forth consistent arguments is indicative that he spends too much time in a bubble isolated from the points of view of people who disagree on the issue or are undecided. It's a common problem and one that is exacerbated by things like Twitter, which is kind of what this thread is about. Maybe he can change, but the number of ad hominem attacks and frequency that he accuses others of having low IQs instead of addressing criticism or reframing his arguments to help others understand suggests that he is too odious—which is why I suggested that he either log off or go infect the Woke side. It's a shame too, it means justice will take longer and more children are going to be victimized in the meantime because people like him are a detriment.
Correction: he is "smart" enough to realize that pissing off his China bosses would cripple his bottom line. Greed is good...if your name is Xi Jinping.
It isn't about "overthrowing", it is about not supporting genocide and totalitarianism.
Musk isn't 1/10th as bad as any of these companies yet he receives all the scorn because he isn't a leftist.
Musk on a ballz out banning binge now. What a Hyp. Hyp O' Crite.
Chaos erupted on Twitter following the unexplained suspensions of journalists critical of its owner Elon Musk from outlets including CNN, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.
Oh poor CNN, WaPo, NYT... please stop suppressing Deep State speech! The horror.
Weren't you that goofy dude who keeps saying the First Amendment should apply to private companies such as Twitter? Seems like you are changing your tune because of the circumstances. That's called shathatchery.

You have no idea how to form a coherent argument. Like most nameless nobodies here, you can't even begin until you've rephrased everything I've written. You have to lead with ridicule and insults because you know full well I''m far your superior intellectually. Very far.
What I said about twitter is it shouldn't be immune from liability for content as long as it's clearly promoting an agenda of its own. That's still true, but twitter is much closer to being a real forum now than just a few weeks ago, when it was an obvious woke mouthpiece.
Kicking three other woke mouthpieces off makes things even better, not worse. These are not the people whose speech has been suppressed, they are deep state operatives and elements of a massive propaganda machine.
the pretext for kicking them off was that they were helping someone stalk him, not that they were posting supposedly false information, "hate speech" or whatever. Valid.

WTF?
I'm not arguing anything. I could have sworn you were one of those guys who has argued that the First Amendment should apply to companies like Twitter. I still think you are one of those guys. And if you are, you look like apply that belief in an inconsistent fashion. That's called shathatchery.
Also, I'm way more smarter than you. You can't touch this.

Dude thinks that marathon pace is physiologicaly limited to "jogging". He also believes that southern summers aren't humid because the humidity is only 50% in the middle of the day.
Too funny...The left is NOW outraged when THEY get banned...lol
Remember their arguments? (A private company can ban anyone they like)
So, in a matter of days, we have gone from "holy sh#t, twitter files show outrageous politically motivated bans!!!" to "Yeah, how does it feel when a right winger takes over and bans the lefties!!!".
And for what it is worth, the liberal and left arguments about content moderation have been about adhering to published standards for conduct on a forum in a fair and nonpartisan manner. The issue of a private company is in response to 1st amendment claims that twitter should not be banning Nazis or people who use hate speech against LGBTQ, etc. That is an argument that says the 1st amendment should control over the standards of conduct, which is why it is relevant that twitter is a private company and can set its own rules without having to adhere to the 1st amendment. Conservatives should agree with this if they are serious about limited government and strict construction of the constitution. Of course, they are not and just want to own the libs.

They weren't banned for being leftists. They were banned for doxxing.
Trump was banned for literally no reason. The Twitter files released the internal communications where the Twitter people admitted they didn't have a reason to ban Trump. They did it for political reasons. You cheered.
Stop pretending you give the slightest f*ck about free speech.
