Couldn't get past the first page but public opinion is ~70/30 to uphold Roe. It makes no sense for 9 people to go against that. & it makes no sense for a Democratic majority to not preserve it now.
No matter where you fall, it doesn't make any sense to go against the majority on an issue like this.
Let's pay attention to crime rates in these no-abortion states in about, say, 18 years.
An unwanted fetus that is *not* aborted typically develops into an unwanted child...who is much more likely to grow up to be your mugger, burglar, rapist, or murderer than your curer of cancer.

I am a father of daughters. If one gets pregnant after a night at a frat party, I’d like her to have easy access to a safe and legal abortion as a backup to any birth control they may be using.
Unfortunately, one is going to school in a red state they may very well ban abortions.
I am prepared for her to keep it. But I’d like the option available to them.

Your issue is with the American public, not this message board. Regressive policies are not generally popular, despite what republican safe spaces tell you.

Your daughters are far more likely to engage in high-risk behavior if abortions are available than if they are not. That is the fundamental failure of abortion as a policy. You should send your daughters to college in Utah. They have the lowest out of wedlock birthrate and one of the lowest abortion rates in the country. Policy influences behavior.

your belief is that the whole country should become like Utah and anyone who lives a different lifestyle isnt just a bad person, but something that should be categorically illegal?
