Do you have any examples of this doping revolution, among non-Africans? No need to burden yourself with long lists -- just the top-5 world wide in the last 4 decades, after the last generation of Lydiard athletes you listed from the 1970s. If you could provide tangible examples, maybe then I could see.
Then you will argue that
1) some of them were not proven to be dopers,
2) it is not proven that doping helped them,
3) some Africans were faster.
But, have at it:
Most suspicious and unbelievable performances from non-Africans of the past four decades – just have a look at the very top.
Male:
1:41.73 in 1981 (wild west cold war doping, legal blood transfusions, no OOC) – still not beaten by any non-African and only two Africans in 40 years
3:28.68 in 2020 (sparse testing during pandemic, brother and training partner flagged as likely doper) – 19 year old best non-African ever
12:54.70 in 1997 (banned drug cheat, EPO era) - still not beaten by any non-African in over 40 years
26:44.36 in 2014 (likely doper, coached by a doper) – 2nd best non-African over 15 seconds slower
Female:
1:53.28 in 1983 (wild west cold war doping, legal blood transfusions, no OOC) – still World Record since 38 years
3:50.46 in 1993 (Ma’s army, EPO era) - still not beaten by any non-African and only one African in 28 years
14:23.75 in 2008 (banned drug cheat) - still not beaten by any non-African in over 12 years
29:31.78 in 1993 (Ma’s army, EPO era) - 2nd best non-African in 28 years over 30 seconds slower (also likely doper), only beaten by one African in 28 years
