Bester’s latest YouTube and numerous Instagram posts about his 5k race in Battersea against Olympians misses the fact that he had a bike on the course filming with a GoPro which has been highlighted in the comments.
His reply to the YouTube comments states that he “sorted it with the race beforehand” and that the cyclist is “experienced and has done it loads”. I’ve since contacted the race to ask the situation and they said they explicitly told him he couldn’t do it before and after the race, yet he still did.
Absolute idiot. Parkrun with a bike is one thing, but a legit race with this level of field makes a joke of the whole thing.
