If we cut welfare from undeserving people (young able-bodied people should have work requirements for food stamps and Medicaid, illegals should NEVER be on Medicaid, etc) that would go a long way. But the woke, unelected parliamentarian axed it.

You do not care about how high the deficit and national debt get as long as your man is charge.
The people want Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Name a developed, first world nation that doesn’t offer similar programs to its citizens.
That means we’ve got to pay for them. One big difference is that we also have to pay $1 trillion for national defense in peace time and, taking inflation into account, that’s 33% more than our defense budget was in 2004, when we were actively deploying troops into combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.
You have no solutions. You are content to run up the bill with Trump in charge, make no meaningful cuts and let the next generation deal with the interest payment.
