Robert Young fakes run across America

Rob's Flybys have received a message asking if they saw him running.

it's been arbitrarily divided into days starting at midnight EST. Strava obviously isn't going to cope too well graphing out paces with 12 minute samples, but might be useful to compare with the TomTom data if it ever becomes available.

So Rob according to that has flown by himself, twice. Did you ask him if he saw the first Rob?

I said 50 pages ago that it was great that Lazarus is going but LRC needs boots on the ground.

I'm sure that Lazarus is a man of integrity and he's not doing this for money or publicity. I have confidence that he is the type of man that will do something if he says he's going to do something. I also think he nucking futs and his interpretation of what he said he'd do might be very different from a rational person.

If Rob cheats again, I think Lazarus will catch him. I don't think Rob will cheat again. Absent a smoking gun to report, I don't think we'll hear much of anything from Lazarus.

OK I visited this thread at page 2. I come back and we are at 160. Sure as heck I'm not reading the whole thread. Has anything actually been proven or happened? Assuming he is faking, I am very disappointed in LR that he is still out there. We should have set up a road block by now.

Way back at the top of p. 29, I examined the early sections of the data tracking in California, and specifically, that back and forth section in Riverside. Now you can see on the strava the anomaly I was trying to describe. On the Santa Ana Bike Trail, the tracker was obviously on Rob, not the RV. But in Riverside, the back and forth tracking could not be Rob running back and forth.

allegedly jamin was talkin about going out there with a stinger device as he's got lots of free time due to lack of women etc. he read about how to make one from youtube.

I don't think there's any dispute that Rob is running across America. The question is did he cheat in the early days of the effort and in Kansas. All the data for recent days and all the ultrageezers watching him now won't answer that and I kinda don't see the point of much of what's going on now, but I haven't heard anyone question whether he is running across America.

Let's say he is running some, across America. But it can't be to much otherwise he wouldn't look like he looked a week ago. (That might have changed now, since he actually has to run under Laz' eyes.

So what happens to the RV once they get to Times Square? Do they place an ad on NYC craigslist? Used RV. Low miles. Great shape. Rear axle needs to be regreased due to sand. All proceeds go to charity.

I don't think the ultra turtles could video anything. They could, perhaps, draw some pictures since that is about as tech savvy as they appear to be.

Come on, don't be so hard on those guys. Laz brought his daguerreotypy kit and plenty of copper plates.

Why? There is no evidence Laz is even there? Where is his GPS data etc? A bigger team needs to be funded to go down there and see if Laz is there. You all believe Laz is down there because someone reposted two text messages he sent, but you refuse to believe Rob is running across America despite him providing a lot more detail than Laz?

If you wanted to do the fastest crossing of America from Pacific to Atlantic, wouldn't you choose to do it in Panama?

Here is a stretch from his data that shows 30.58 miles in 1 hour.

Mapping it out, it is actually 69 miles on the road. (The tracker calculates a straight line point to point).

Estimated driving time is 59 minutes. It took Rob 1 hour to run this stretch.

Robert Youngs team just confirmed on facebook that he is not cheating. That's the end of this here.

Hello everybody,

One month ago yesterday, I began the journey with Robert H P Young aka Marathonmanuk and Dustin Brooks, to break the fastest crossing of america in Huntington Beach, California. Today, after running over 2000 miles, we are currently passed Greenup, Illinois, with our eyes on the prize, Times Square, New York City. There have been speculations, that Rob has been "cheating" and not running at all, but I can confirm that Rob has ran every step, foot, mile on his own. I have been present every step of the way and will continue to do so. My job is to follow him with the motorhome, provide him fluids when he needs them, take videos and photos of him while he runs, run with him and many other things. Each day we are getting closer to making history and break the toughest record in the running world. We have been accompanied by ESPN, CCTV America, been in touch with Sports Illustrated and many other magazines.

Once again I ask you if you could share this post to let others know about this unbelievable journey.
