The point of the tariffs is to negotiate. And they have led to economic success - the S&P is a hair away from ATH.

2. He has not stopped the confict in Gaza as promised.
3. He has not struck any serious Trade Agreements as promised.
4. He has not ended forever wars, he has drawn us into a new one with Iran.
5. He has not normalized relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
I'm sure there's more, but those are big ones, and the very reasons why he persuaded many to vote for him, which is truly appearing to be a mistake, at least according to his dismal approval rating in the polls.

He has made great relationships with Gulf states. Qatar-America relations are at an all time high.

Markets are up because they are betting that Trump folds like a cheap suit on the tariffs or, at worst, does another one of his extensions.
So, get your short positions on auto stocks and any other industry that would get pounded by the July 9th deadline and then cover your shorts on July 8th just before Trump announces another extension or a deal to make a deal in the future.
