Air Force kid here. For a strategic bombing mission, the aviators do not pick the target, the route, or the ordnance. If they drop the bombs on target--which it would appear they did--that's all they care about (other than getting back safely).

It didn’t retract anything. It was a guy at the pentagon giving his take. If you would get away from Fox you might realize that it’s normal for a news channel to offer many viewpoints and not just be a mouthpiece of Trump.
