The government forces kimmel off the air via threats due to him " peddling misinformation" and then when asked about it, the government defends their actions by....... peddling extreme disinformation.
Vice President JD Vance tried Wednesday to rewrite the history of what happened before ABC suspended late-night host Jimmy Kimmel last week, saying a commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission merely made “a joke o...
He was an uneducated, far right pundit, so not much of a candidate. What’s next? A comedian?
Incorrect!
Kirk was well read-100 books every year.
That knowledge gained from doing that is why he was so great at debating on college campuses nationwide.
Why would debating anything matter? He would have defended his opinions with whatever made sense to him and his followers, while being too extreme for others. He fired up his fans but did not convert anyone to being MAGA

It is weird that you would post something like this. I was/am not a Kirk supporter (aside from agreeing he should not be dead), but debate is an extremely important part of forming opinions and values. It strengthens critical thinking skills, perspective, problem solving, and basic civil discourse. We're in the current state we're in because people refuse to be challenged, which leads to weakness. Toddlers throw fits when you say no, they don't provide a strong counter argument.
It honestly doesn't matter how good of a debater kirk was, or whether his opinions were right or wrong, the act of debating him was helping people - mainly college kids - form their belief systems.
Think of it like fitness. If you aren't challenging your body, you're going to get weak. The same goes for your brain and your belief system. Every once in a while you might change your mind, but most of the time you are going to sharpen your critical thinking skills and help solidify why you believe what you believe.

He was too extreme and his opinions added nothing to civil discourse. He was popular to MAGA and got out the vote, but in no way a was he a uniter.
As far as debates forming an opinion, have you seen one for presidential candidates? Do you make your voting decisions’ based on debates? There is a ton of information online about a candidates’s opinions, personal details and voting records in the House or Senate while debates are mostly sound bites. That people are refusing to be challenged is mere speculation on your part.
Soooo..... Not sure if this has been presented on this thread. However, to all the right wingers decrying criticisms of Kirk after his death and those who celebrated his death.... What did y'all think of this back when it happened? I'm sure you thought it was just awful and disgusting behavior, right? Riiiight.
[ Or is celebrating someone's death only wrong when violence is involved? If kirk had a brain aneurysm on stage and dropped in front of everyone and lefties were celebrating, i'm sure you would have said, "well, since it wasn't violence that caused his death, we won't be offended. Suuuure]

How many people on the left celebrated his death? 1%? Very few people had even heard of him. He was just a successful political pundit that wasn’t a threat to anyone and it was awful that he was murdered.
This post was edited 3 minutes after it was posted.
It was horrible that someone shot and murdered someone who went to colleges to debate. Debating ideas is what should be done on college campuses.
if Kirk was a first grader killed by a gun man in a school the story would be long disappeared.
I hadn’t watched much of Kirk before he was murdered. Now that I have I cannot say he is someone who was that impressive. he had talking point answers and he debated random 18 to 22 year olds who obviously were not skilled or experienced debaters.
I’ve heard a few people say he could have been a future president. I am not seeing it. He had an enthusiastic support. I give him that. I am not his target audience but really don’t get his supporters outside of the people who want to be told how great the Bible is and how great it would be if we were all Christian’s or religious.
It is pretty amazing how little information there is out about Robinson at this point. No one has come forward and said anything concrete about Robinson's politics or motivation. Despite the massively intrusive surveillance tools available to the government, there is little more than a few text chats between Robinson and his roommate. And there are questions about whether those actually exist or were reconstructed by his roommate under FBI interrogation.
But what is clear is that Robinson came from the perfect conservative family. He was raised around guns and hunting, went to church and was raised in a traditional two parent family. He was highly intelligent and did well in school. College did not work out for him, but he was enrolled in a trade program to become an electrician. Yet, it looks like he was gay and ended up committing one of the most high profile political assassinations using a fairly simple bolt action high powered rifle.
If there was any argument that the reason people turn out like Robinson was because of the woke mind virus and that conservative family values are the answer, Robinson obliterated that argument. Worse still for right wingers, the idea that we can live safely in a country where guns are everywhere and the answer to a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun was also obliterated by Robinson. Robinson was at best a hunter. No military or police tactical training. He was able to assassinate Kirk with a single shot and get away without being caught (and only got caught after turning himself in). This obliterate the M#GA ideal that the right wingers can solve the ills of society by possessing and exerting superior violence to the bad guys. Kirk died just as helpless and defenseless as the children in Uvalde.
