Floberg is back running. The man needs time off. In the last year he's ran multiple marathons, chased a silly mileage goal, ended up seriously sick and then constantly misses out on a time he picked from thin air with no workout saying he's anywhere close.
He'll turn up at a marathon in a few weeks attempting 2:30 because, you know, he's in 2:30 shape, but the course/weather/shoes just aren't right.
I think he said a couple of months ago that he is going to run Grandma's. (I may have misrembered this.)

Sounds familiar. Grandma's would be a mistake. Recover, do base training, then do Chicago properly. Then there are CIM, The Marathon Project and Houston as potential follow-ups. Or just don't run marathons so close together. If he's still trying to build mileage / training load, it's really better to stick to no more than 2 marathons a year. HM's can fill the gaps and be a good fitness check for the transition between base training and marathon training. And then once he's settled at a certain mileage in the next few years and gotten to know his limits in training, he can do more multi-marathoning.
BTW my training continues to go well. For those who don't recall, I PR'd 2:38 in Dec '24, I'll be at Chicago, and I'm 100% sure of my victory over this youtuber. Floberg, don't run any marathons between now and Chicago. I want you at full strength, fully prepared.
I'm a Philly fan and think she's in great shape. I think she'll swing for the fences (aim for top GB athlete) and unfortunately that's why I think your right.
She could probably execute a paced 2:23 but I can see her challenging Eilish which will be too hot.
I hope I'm wrong and she does amazing but if I were betting I'd bet on similar (2:33).

London is a harder course than Berlin and she won't have a pacer but c'mon she ran 2:25..I expect she runs at least sub 2:30.

It adds an interesting dimension having a youtuber in the mix! Honestly, Phily is probably the only one I'd recognise out of any of the elites. It's going to be interesting.
Eilish aside, she's similar to the other Brits. It will be interesting to see how she copes if she drops off a pace group. I can't see her going out with Eilish - would be nuts if she did.

just a dude rocking a ko hoodie and big D hat in corral Z
Who would actually buy a kofuzi hoodie? It's even more expensive than the normal rabbit hoodie? I just don't understanding buying something that advertises that i watch someone on youtube
it's also hilarious that XL is sold out, but not the normal sizes

A woman in a group I occasionally run with bought the Rabbit-Kofuzi singlet and tights. I don't understand it either, but there's obviously a market.
For the sake of conversation, she's in her 40s, has a high-earning job, and got into running in recently. Kofuzi has spoken in the past that a large amount of his viewers are middle-aged folk who found running later in life.
Why doesn't triathlon have its own version of shoetubing? There's so much stuff to market and sell to the triathlon crowd. Is the barrier of entry just too high?
She also bought the Tracksmith London shorts and singlet, which she wore to run club. Not something I would do, but she's buying up all this merch than I presume many others are, too, so there's certainly a market.
One of the great tradegies in running is seriousrunner not getting a Tracksmith sponsor while the likes of Kofuzi is getting flown from continent to continent.
It seems SJD is effectively back to daily vlogging (at least unofficially).
His recent videos also suggest the answer to the question of what a running YouTuber would wear as a daily trainer if not getting paid to travel around the world in exchange for positive reviews — the Nike Vomero 18.
