It's like Harsin when he got hired at Auburn to coach football or Napier/McElwain at Florida. Great G5 coaches but when they're not winning at the big boy level they'll get replaced quick. His time at A and T won't buy him much if he doesn't have success

Yea I just asked you about the programs who invested what the expectations were or are they just doing it for fun. The Mizzou coach has had plenty of time at the helm. I have nothing against the guy I think it's hard to win there period, but he has a staff of 10 so if he can't place Top 7 in conference this year or next he is done right or does the expectations/investment only apply to Tennessee and Ross Staff. Tennessee is was first to do it but every power is following the trend slowly 9 plus people on a track staff will be the standard. Some ADs just like to flex if it works they look like a genius. If you go look at Houston Staff it's bigger than it was when Leroy was there. I think Pat Henry add one more Nebraska has 8, an ops and a recruiting coordinator. I believe Georgia has 9, I think VA tech will 7 or 8, I think Vandy has 7 or 8, Miss State at 7. Illinois at 8 I believe,

Hey! Coach Bryan is still coaching at Vanguard. I coach alongside him, so I can attest that coaches wire was incorrect in their post. Not sure why they reported him not coaching there. Coach Bryan is still going strong!

He has 30 years in the industry and some big names on his resume so a lot of AD will say that's enough for him. I don't know his coaching abilities, but it says he coached some studs

He will do just fine there. That school should only be D1 in Basketball. They do not take cross and track there serious. for years recruiting was essentially who ever showed interest would be offered a spot and or a scholarship. That does not mean Renny didnt change that for the men's side but before him. That was how it was done. The cross country coaches were essentially high school coaches when it comes to amount of effort in recruiting and time spent on improving.

If they’re qualified.. hiring a female with 0 experience over other applicants with years of success is stupid. If a male candidate with no experience is hired over a qualified female applicant, that’s also stupid, and would probably be tied up in a lawsuit.
Hire the best person for the job. Period.
