Well, as someone who coaches in the west I'm quite surprised in some sense about the Akron hire. She got canned at San Jose State and in interactions with her she seemed completely clueless about the sport. Coach Mitchell built a beast of a program at Akron and I have a hard time believing she will keep it up to those standards. My prediction is the program goes down the toilet.
