I would say that the following might not make him “stupid,” but they indicate how foolish it is for some people to use “Wharton grad” as evidence of being “smart”:

— What was the acceptance rate at Wharton when Mr. Trump attended? What were the likely credentials of those admitted?

— Did he have the credentials to be admitted directly out of secondary school?

— Is there any credible evidence that his admission was at least partially the product of family connections rather than merit (or, say, family connections more than merit)?

— this was still roughly in the era of the “gentleman’s C” in the Ivies. Think something akin to “social promotion” for the wealthy.

— you have a guy who loves to boast and loves even more to throw things in the face of his opponents (perceived enemies, etc). If he had any clear evidence whatsoever that he was very bright — U Penn transcripts, an IQ test, or whatever, what are the odds that he’s keep those under wraps?

Has he made those available? Here’s a better question: Are there credible allegations that he has taken measures to suppress similar info?

Every time you call him smart on the basis of his educational background, you really come across as gullible at best, and conceivably as downright foolish. You’ve heard the guy talk, right?

Is the USA media reporting this? It seems like Trump said he was leaving because his phone wasn't secure. But isn't Trump now SELLING phones? Are those phones secure?
