Sac State’s last two distance coaches have come from NAU, where Kenny spent several years as part of Mike’s staff.
Last year there were applicants for the position that were skipped over in favor of Delaney. This makes the second coach with little to no coaching experience that Kenny has hired on Mike’s recommendation. You have to wonder if he is doing any homework as part of hiring. Even taking into account the relative difference in their programs, Kenny is still more inept than Avery at UCLA.Many better options that would stay and develop it over the long term. One to two years is what they normally get out of a coach. Rinse and repeat.

I think OP was eluding to the fact that 3rd place resulted in termination, while 20th place resulted in hiring 5 more coaches

I mean his son was also banned for where about failures along with lying to USADA. Possible he got some help at a school that was very much less under the radar

Please save that trash. NC A&T had a lot Power 5 schools worried period. Both men and women track were doing great. It's a reason he got the Tennessee job.

What do you mean save that trash. His son is banned for a drug violation.
Facts are not trash no matter how much you want them to not be true.
He got the Tennessee job because of success that may or may not have been in part due to artificial circumstances. If he doesn't come at least top 5 this year he'll be either on the hot seat or fired. BAS was a good but not great coach and was canned after having more success in both the conference and national meet

Man you what I mean. I don't have to spell it out. You're acting like his program wasn't good. The above post had nothing to do with what his son . For years that man showed you and others that he could coach. You want to negate what he did please.
