Regarding a, if it makes him look bad, one should do it. What's the net impact? Who the hell knows? But I lean towards it being worth it. As little as I think of the average American votes, and especially the currently "undecided," I'm cautiously optimistic that Trump will look net negative.
Regarding b, and as others have said recently, totally agree. When a network sells it's soul, it should be banished.
