it's amazing how ignorant you are.

Is there any hard evidence of UNCG's new kenyans?
Also how come all of a sudden UNCG can afford to give kenyans scholarships like this? I didn't think there track program was funded enough.
You didn't think THEIR program was funded. Learn the difference between there, they're, and their.
I don't think there is any way in hell that moen and soderman redshirt. App's coach is kinda crazy, but he would never redshirt a healthy guy... because he's afraid they'll get hurt later. It would really be sad if that is indeed the direction UNCG was going, it would speak of desperation. We would have another EKU, Alabama, UTEP. The socon meet will start to lose the pureness it has, every team (maybe except for wofford, citadel) goes in thinking they have a chance, which is how it should be. I'd rather coach woffords team that gets DFL every year and know we do it honestly then to take some kenyan imports and get the W.

I donut think they're program is well funded either.
You've posted the same thing multiple times already. You are like a politician, trying to discredit your opponent and make excuses for yourself, all before the competition even begins. Your posts and your tactics reek of fear.
I'd be willing to bet the only people who are upset about the kenyans are the guys from App. Everyone else in the socon will be thrilled for anyone to beat them, africans or not.
According to the Shorter website Paul Chelimo is on the roster for the 2011-2012 season so looks like he's staying at Shorter.
Are more kenyans coming or is this all a load of crap?
I see nothing wrong with teams that are largely Kenyan. If you can't get good American kids to come to your school you have to look elsewhere.
App found Hudgins a 7th year. I think they have a chance now!

If you can't get American kids to come to your school then clearly your school sucks lol.
I don't think it's fear, more like pity that this is what its come to (although probably more rumors as the poster previous to me said that one dude is staying at shorter). Its sad when schools make the decision that the americans they can gget just aren't worth time and/or effort and that recruiting foreigners to "improve" their program is the right decision. I'm talking ANY foreigners, not just kenyans.
App is the favorite until they lose, and anyone who thinks that they'll lose with soderman, moen, raby, taylor, and kelly outta be drug tested. cause they're probably on crack. or meth. or shrooms. or this stuff:

or maybe its just this guy, cause lets face it- he's crazy:
Berry FTW Chattanooga Mocs!
Don't even start. Chat was done the minute they hired that coach. Sure, might have a few good individuals but he clearly doesn't know how to run a TEAM!
Back to UNCG v. APP.
I need predictions!
According to an annonymous sources FB status the SOCON added prelims to the 1500/mile. HA!
This will probably be fairly detrimental to ASU. Who agrees?
Will Raby will win conference along with App State winning the team title. Chris Berry is an absolute stud but trains too hard. If Berry trained smarter, he would be a perennial contender for all NCAA national meets. Probably along the lines of a 7:55-13:45-29:00 guy
Please don't feed the infamous ego of Raby.
Really? Don't, I think you should take a look at Coach Gautier's Bio...
I didn't realize that you don't have to know how to "run a TEAM" to win the SOCON 12 times as a TEAM, to be the South Region Coach of the Year, or to win the the South Region. Not to mention, I guess it didn't take a team to win the DMR indoors last year either.
I guess 2 South Region XC Champions, 24 NCAA Qualifiers, 8 All-Americans, 29 SOCON Athletes of the Year, 16 Freshman of Year, and 195 SOCON Champions is just a "few good individuals".
Jimjamesrunner, since don't is apparently on to something about Coach Gautier's coaching I am open to training advice... and who knows maybe I'll end up running 7:55 and 13:45 this season.
Hmmm thats all well and good but he hasn't won a mens cross country SOCON title since '04. With all the talent he has they should at least be competing for championships if not dominating them. I simply do not get the whole "don't race anyone or anywhere until conference then come out and expect to surprise everyone" tactic.
yeah i've heard that too about the mile/1500. this would only be really detrimental to app if they added another heat but left the length of the meet at 2 days. if they are indeed doing this the conference really needs to stop being a high school state meet and add another day to space out the competition
