Not Australian but heard about this on the latest IRP... this Jess Hull/Athletics Australia drama/manufactured fake drama depending on who you believe is very weird isn't it..
There’s a Nike issue someone at Nike says she sacked Steven Haas her agent and in legal contract dispute with Nike. thats more than weird. they say the dad is causing problems
Her dad Simon seems like an absolute legend based on everything i've heard so if he's making noise then it's probably in the best interest of his daughter.

Haas (@haasruns) hasn't posted about Jess since her 2k WR attempt. Nothing about her indoor champs medals, so this seems legit.
Jess on insta today shared reels about doing Nike photoshoot.
Entries for nationals are now available. I'm gonna post some startlists here so i can reference later because roster athletics sucks massive balls. (no heats avail yet). Men's 1500m

There'll probably be a few scratches between now and the champs, there's some good fields in some events, and weak fields in others. Hull doing the triple 800/1500/5000 is interesting. Excited to see Jye Edwards back in the 1500. This definitely feels like a bit of a transition year - A few list cloggers might find there way out of the sport and out of contracts, and i'm expecting a bunch of younger up-and-coming runners to find themselves on podiums. Matt Ramsden not competing so I guess we can put his career to bed.
Pretty awesome Hull always races a lot, great to see her do world indoors, MPM and then this.
Men's 800m has a great field. Same with the 5000m. I imagine this might be a difficult race for some older guys like Mcdonald, Robinson, McSweyn, Hoare. Might be a repeat of Myers v. O'Donnel on the last lap like last year.

Also, have we all been sleeping on Toby Gillen? 13:16 5k is no joke
nah, he trains under Craig Mottram now so he's been regressing quite rapidly recently. OAC Aus has been a death sentence for all men and most women who have been part of it.

Haha. I do wonder if Claudia realises that she carries the entire OAC team and Craig Mottram's coaching career on her shoulders. Craig's lucky that two of his male runners are steeplers because I think in a way it shields them from criticism for pretty poor performances. Ed Trippas with 8:05/8:13 3ks to start the season, Jesse Hunt with 3:47/7:58 after a 3:46 season's best last year. Are these really up to standard for professional athletes?

Whilst it’s a funny clip that IRP trot out every now and again, I do think the clip of Mottram crashing out on Crokes for asking about his coaching philosophy has aged pretty badly given how poorly his team is doing.
Gives off an old school football coach mentality “4-4-2, put the ball in their goal and stop it going in ours” type vibe. Feels like his training philosophy is old school “run hard and have big b@lls”
