Isn’t doping mitigated to a significant degree by athletes ratting each other out? Maybe people will protect a few friends, but beyond that I think they’re going to tear down the internal competition by reporting them.
According to Gemini, there are 60,000 NCAA track and field athletes.
The number of failed tests is close to zero (similar to the UK in general)
The utter and complete lack of positives among 60,000 athletes is proof positive that nobody is getting tested for PEDs. I suspect that most of the testing focuses on cannabis and other recreational drugs.
Therefore there is no disincentive to not dope. At this point we can safely assume that 70% are doping.
More than 1? Yep - a whole 3. That makes all the difference to the point that she virtually disappeared after the Olympics. But it is probably appropriate that you guys have made her a specific feature in a doping thread. After all, she has chosen a coach with doping associations.
Us guys? You are the one who brought Valby into this thread, and you've been talking about her for the last week over the last six pages. It took you a week to finally look up her results and prove yourself wrong -- rendering that whole discussion completely unnecessary -- only proving to everyone your obsessions are uninformed and you seem severely unable to inform yourself about things which are public.
Is it appropriate to talk about a professional athlete in a college thread?
You might better ask that question of the dimwits who have continued to go on about her as an excuse for attacking me. Include yourself amongst the dimwits. She was also better known as a college athlete than she is as a pro.
Yep - I'm only attacked by morons and doping-deniers. Quite a few of you.
Poor thing gets attacked. Because it's never you who starts it, right?
Simply stating an opinion is "starting it" according to your definition. Now you've chosen to join in. It doesn't really bother me. I merely observe it as a fact; the morons come out in their droves.

It's best to eliminate the middlemen and ask the dimwit who dragged her into this thread, why he did it.
