Since when is dropping a few bombs in the Middle East “starting a war” lol.
Let me ask you this. If a country dropped bombs on military bases in the U.S. would you consider this an act of war? How do you think Trump would react?
This operation was not about destroying Iran's nuclear program. Satellite photos do not show the kind of damage that would indicate that the underground infrastructure had been destroyed. Entrances are buried and bunker busting bombs may have caused some structural damage, but there is no evidence of any sort of catastrophic structural failure of an underground nuclear bunker. And the fissile material and a lot of the centrifuges were moved well before the strikes.
This military operation was intended to get Iran to launch a response that would give Trump's Iran hawks the ability to go to Congress and get a declaration of war against Iran. M#GA's internal divide with Tucker, Bannon, MTG and others against the US entering a war with Iran could be reversed if Iran is linked to a terrorist attack on the US or if Iran's response to the strike goes too far.
The Iranians are not dumb. They will carry out a largely performative strike against a few small US bases in the region, but leave the big ticket items in the region untouched. Iran is really just in survival mode right now. They are looking for a way out of this conflict without having to look like they caved in to Israel and the US. A sustained campaign of missile and drone strikes on Israel will get Israelis to pressure Netanyahu to end the conflict. I expect this conflict will fizzle out by the first week of July.

Iran has to hit and hit hard to let US know they will not simply roll over.
Russia and China cannot let US/Israel destory and regime change another nation in the ME (Iraq, Syria, Libya et al). Cannot let the crazy neocons get away with more aggression.
US govt is claiming Iraq told US they would carry our terror on US soil. Seems the neocons are prepping to get US public to support war with Iran.
According to NBC News, sources reported that Iran sent a communiqué to President Trump before U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, warning that it would activate sleeper-cell terror attacks inside the United States if attacked.
I studied this area intensely in college. Instead of going into international law, I jumped on the technology bandwagon.
All I have to say is that we hit some **known** nuclear enrichment areas with frameworks for yielding excess plutonium but there are likely 3-to-6 locations that are hidden. The best way to asses for hidden underground lairs is with an aerial view of Iran and use the material implications from known locations and knowledge of resource deposits to hypothesize where hidden locations might exist.
For instance, this quick google search for an image, is missing a lot, in my opinion.
The questions are: where can there be a local resource of uranium, where is that resource enriched and, finally, where is there a reactor or that yields excess plutonium? The other thing we need to know is who were AQ Khan's successors? Khan was like an Einstein. The blueprints he and others laid out for the building of nuclear weapons live on.
Where there are underground lairs, you can also bet there are other things like centrifuges and freakin' laser beams. I am just saying, we hit a few main sites but there some we dont know about.
We have detection methods that can detect miniscule amounts of radioactive isotopes and they are deployed at check points in major US cities. If you studied that "intensely " I would assume you would know that

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence asse...
Iranian Mountain Lab is Ok. No Impact. If you look at the Craters , then you can see no secondary subsidance ( sinkhole) that would indicate a lower level structure collapse of buried structure. Why do you people delete topics because your lies get exposed? This is all over the news now.

Depends on how you define “war”. Our military budget is $825B and Iran’s is $25B. If Iran was lucky, they might kill a couple of people with missiles at air force bases while we could kills tens of thousands of Iranians with air strikes. Iran wouldn’t even last a week.
US intelligence now says the nuclear sites have not been obliterated and Iran's programme has only been set back a few months. So much winning.
Yep, this was expensive gardening in desert soil.
Where is DOGE when you need them: The cost to procure each B-2 was US$737 million in 1997 dollars (equivalent to US$1.3 billion in 2021. The B-2 may cost up to $135,000 per flight hour to operate in 2010, which is about twice that of the B-52 and B-1.

We were lucky enough to have our YouGov/The Economist poll in field when the US bombed Iranian nuclear facilities. You can see the partisan realignment in real time pic.twitter.com/D4eCjrt7d8
Come on Commies! You must GET ON YOUR KNEES AND Censor for Israel.
Everyone knows those nuclear sites were only lightly / moderately damaged and the fordow facility is largely untouched. Global media is Reporting Reports from Iran Directly. CIA is getting those reports too, they just wont tell you, America, because they do not Respect You.
