Could be the camera angle but the elastic for Mantz may be snapped. I don't see him chasing anymore.

Coverage is almost as bad as Chicago. At least NYC has split screens during the unnecessary interviews.
Gabby went to Harvard? Wow never knew that
Obiri, Cheruiyot, Chepkirui (KEN), Chumba (BHR) and Teferi (ETH)

Just my thoughts but Kiptoo seems like a likely candidate for a big blow up here. Uncharted territory and just covered a huge move.
Kiptoo off the group in a blink. I did not see a noticeable surge. Going to be a lonely last 7 miles.
Good thing Dakotah and Sarah Vaughn decided to was the race it really paid off. Same with Linkletter, Albertson, and BYU

No it's not her fault, it's DEI Media machines fault.
I look similar, but a little older and a lot less Mabaline

Correction, he's still there!
Hiding really well.

At least she’s a runner and not a rugby player
I know there’s a stereotype of Americans being bad at geography, but why do they continue to show the flag of Brunei 🇧🇳 for Eunice Chumba? Did ABC7 just think any Asian county that starts with a B is the same?
The ESPN graphic for the men's race has at least two errors.
1) Wesley Kiptoo is listed as American - he is not.
2) Eunice Chumba has a Brunei flag instead of Bahrain.

What makes you think any of those dropped are clean?
I think you meant: The East African runners have separated themselves from everyone else.
Because 9 times out of 10 when a pro distance runner gets busted they are from Kenya.
5:13 for women on last mile.
4:43 for men.
Nageeye is a true specialist of this marathon. Three times in the top 5 during the last 3 editions and again he's in the front group. Don't forget he is an Olympic silver medalist.
I'm still convinced Kiptoo is going to have a big blow up here. Hanging around in the back of the pack.

There it is, move by Chebet into the next bridge and Kiptoo is gone. 5 seconds in 300m

If my HS XC coach posted this, I'd have to have a private talk with him Monday.

Yes. Amazing woman. She actually has brains and a future career. As opposed to other pros who all become strength coaches because they never planned or have the discipline to actually have a real career.
