As far as a) is concerned, maybe you're right. But it seems highly likely that it was an intentional parallel. But even if it wasn't, the issue is decorum. Overt displays of sexuality, of ANY kind, don't have a place in the Olympic opening ceremony. If it had been scantily clad, traditionally-attractive women being raunchy, same thing would apply.
And b) you don't have to be a believer to understand that the Olympics ought to be a place where a diverse range of cultural beliefs are to be respected, and effort ought to be made to avoid the outright offense of 1/3 of the global population. This kind of a response is the sign of immaturity and low intelligence.
All you 'Christians' are also balling your eyes out that beach volleyball players are not allowed to have their arses out while playing now.
