Indeed. But what do Christians suggest? They should shoot up the Olympics?!? It is a sign of the durability of the belief system that it can tolerate criticism. Islam is growing, but only in poor countries. Islam is so afraid of criticism that the punishment for apostasy is death.

If as you believe the bible states that all the men in Sodom were gay, where did the children come from?

If all the men were gay, what would have been the point of Lot sending out his daughters to the men? What were they going to do? Have a discussion on make up? How to do hair? If the men were going to sexually abuse them, then obviously, the men would have to at a minimum be bisexual, because no gay man can get it up for a woman.

Thirdly it shows how women were treated as chattel with no agency. What loving parent would send out his virgin daughters to be brutally raped by men? I would not do it nor even contemplate doing so. Killing for my daughters if anyone mess with them, yes. I find that proposal from Lot abhorrent, disgusting and wicked.

I think it cuts both ways, Glory Hole. It's clear that Islamics are some serious fervent, deep believers in their religion and their god. They will not hesitate to kill (or be killed) if you even look at their god stink-eyed.

Christians, on the other hand, just had their religion trashed in front of the entire world. Total humiliation for Christians. And all we get is some faux-outrage, some faux-victimhood and some of the usual tangential gay-bashing. That's all they could muster in the face of this attack on their deepest beliefs. I am a Christian and was not in the least bit offended. I find it weird this offending a religion concept. Christians are taught that Christianity is not a religion, well if it isn't, where was the offense? Cannot have it both ways.
