I don't think this thread paints humanity and running community in a good light at all. It also lacks alot of evidence (that doesn't mean allegations are untrue, but if people make allegations, claim they evidence, and then don't share it, it doesn't help draw easy conclusion).

FWIW I hope Itai can find a great coach who's values and running ethos aligns with himself and smashes some PBs.

This forum can be frustrating because your views are reasonable, rational and coherent, and yet, you are getting more downvotes than upvotes.

Yep, some of this is actually litigious. Weirdos, trying to convince people to contact his sponsors should definitely be cautious.

The views are entirely reasonable if you look at this issue/person in a vacuum. However, we are dealing with what seems to be a pattern of behaviour. As for "evidence," I'm not sure what more than screen shots we can or should expect. MF has claimed that the "evidence" is doctored but then bizarrely has repeated (at least in tone) the offensive parts of the interaction in dispute.

So, it's entirely reasonable to believe the issue is an interpersonal disagreement between two people only if you dismiss all the other (very similar) instances with the same type of evidence that MF has gone through (publicly on these boards.) That's the reason for the downvotes.

Not sure about a few of those those other allegations. Seem pretty troll-y and I wouldn’t believe anything on the internet that couldn’t be proven. Somebody sending Johnson pictures to me would definitely get reported to the authorities. It’s important to have a nice paper trail in case you ever have to punch someone’s head off.

this does not surprise me in the slightest. We went our separate ways, but the attitude and nasty words he shared showcased how toxic the guy is.

Yes. However, there’s lines you don’t cross such as collectively blaming all Jews/Israelis for Israel’s actions in Gaza. Saying that supporting Israel as a country amounts to genocide (keep in mind that Israel’s Arab population is better off there than most Arab countries). Calling it “Israhell,” when it ranks higher on personal freedom/civil liberties than any other Arab/Muslim country. Discriminating against Israeli’s simply because they are Israeli. That would be like discriminating against blacks because they are black. And whitewashing the egregious racism that exists within the Arab and Muslim world against ethnic minorities and other religions by using the, “they’re oppressed” excuse. That would be like saying someone has a right to rob someone’s business or steal someone’s property because they have the “I am poor” excuse
