My stalker. You must learn to let go.
Two men's track and field events stand out as odd ones, in the matter of how often WRs are set and how long they stand. The long jump, with Owens (1935), Beamon (1968) and Powell (1991), set WRs that each stood for decades. The 800 m, with Harbig (1939), Snell (1962), Coe (1979, 81), and Kipketer and Rudisha, perhaps to a lesser degree. Never did figure out why that was so. Also why the men's 1500 m WR has stood for 25+ years, far longer than those set by such outstanding runners of yesteryear like Hagg and Elliott. (Not much to say re Walter George's (1886) mile run!)
What about Jim Peters taking the marathon record from 2:25 to 2:17 or Clayton's 2:09 at Fukuoka; first under 2:12/11/10. Both great runners.

If I'm not wrong Ben Pattison ranked last in the final DL.

what was wrong all these years?
P.S. You are not representative of UK. Because I know Brits are generally classy.

That must apply to everyone posting on in her threads, as they do again and again. You included.

NA has the best performance in this distance after East Africa. (*)
Call your friend from Norway to run hundred of miles per days and build a "lactic threshold" to improve in this distance.
(*) Don't count Kipketer its not one of yours.

Well, the real ones will know Arop is king no matter what these jokers do. And Rudisha is emperor.
