Yes, but we all promise once he moved to Minnesota he realized the error of his ways and quit doping his athletes.
Or it is all’s lie and he has found a way to inject reindeer milk into the most promising.

Saw on the Ole Instagram that Elliot Kadrofske ran 2:25. Cool to see for a guy that has faced some injuries the last few years.
Their alumni are having a strong marathon season. Curious if Malcom Richards is still racing. He ran pretty fast for being in his late 30’s.
Did any other MIAC alumni race Chicago?
How tf are these Kenyans living in a village one step ahead of WADA?

This is likely sour grapes because several teams in the MIAC have scorers he told they don't meet their performances. If his goal is the only work with top talent, that makes sense. Some would argue D3 is about developing untapped potential. We had a kid visit campus last week that our coach was very excited about. He said Power wouldn't meet with him. Our program is in a different place than them, so I guess it is understandable. I talked with him and he was nice enough. The team was a bit cultish for me. Our coach seems to like him, but it seems to be mainly the other cities coaches that don't like him. Again sour grapes.
Can we shift the focus to next week's meets? The Scots and Johnnies will face off at Augustana. This will be an exciting MIAC preview to see if either team can top the Oles and who is fighting for second. Most of the other teams will be at Lax. Any predictions?
Don't forget St. Mary's down at Auggie! Sean Smyth is making remarkable progress, along with returns to health for of their other runners, who are also improving from last year.
It would be terrific to see former MIAC Rookie of the Year Grant Schneider and the improving sophomore class battle for a top half finish, but I'm not sure they are there yet. Just hoping they can continue to be healthy and progress. They have a pro runner as a coach, so many are likely training at a level they have never hit.
I'm not sure why they'd skip the La Crosse meet that is at most an hour away, but to each his own. I will never understand why Olaf ducks a chance to race the No. 1 team in the country two hours away to fly half way across the country. Or the countless ranked teams a mere seven hour bus ride to Auggie. Or they could follow the Tommies to Bradley to try to beat D1 teams to raise their national profile. It just smacks of try hardness and is likely a recruiting ploy. Same with Carleton's trip to the other coast.

Problem is Lacrosse doesn’t really ‘race’ their home meet. Plus you need out of region competition if you finish 4/5 at region. Beating D1s doesn’t factor. I’m looking forward to Mo racing the Iowa community college kids though. Should be his first real competition this year.

Doesn't look like there is going to be anybody at La Crosse this year to race Mo, with the home team doing their normal tempo and none of the fast Iowa CC or other WIAC teams it's shaping up to be another solo effort.
Seems like a coaching error. Should have done his research and taken him to Auggie. He could still hop on the bus with the Scots or Johnnies.

Ups the ante in running a great time uncontested. Over/under on the cooldown? La Crosse is further away and it’s not marathon weekend so ~20 miles @6:40 pace seems about right.
Great day to be an ole
Oles over or under 25 points at MIAC's? Discuss.

Well, the absolute floor is 20 (2-6). And Mo will beat them by so much they really should start @3 so I’ll take the over.
Shoutout Mo Bati's barber for giving him a fresh prerace lineup. Took 15 seconds off his time at least.
I'll predict St Olaf at 23 pts. St Johns has the edge currently for 2nd place, but if Mac and/or Carleton get a big improvement from their #5s, that could change.
Did the Oles fly all the way to Connecticut just to find a short course? Notice none of them ran as fast as Mo.
More importantly, Mo moves to the top of the Lacctic rankings! Oles are tenth but graduates are still included so they should be much lower.
With current shoe technology could any MIAC runner in history beat Bati at any distance below a 5K? I know the Oles alumni tend to run faster after they graduate, but I don't see any way Kelly, Bocovich, or even Wilkinson could beat him in their prime (college years). Maybe Ben Sathre or Devin Monson could push him for a mile or two.

I assume you mean above a 5k... lots of guys could smoke him in the 100m.
