who cares if people down vote you in this thread. this site is dominated by trolls and bots and idiots and entitled dopes who insist you spoon feed them links to social media posts or it doesnt count. you are just reporting news items here. votes are meaningless. Raker is a great prospect and even better kid.
weve probably gotten through most of the big name announcements but youll still see a few more through December or so. there are some announcements missing from the past few weeks Ive noticed but more and more announcements are for commitments to second/third tier schools like Georgia Tech, Cal Davis, Binghamton, Valpo, etc. plus some Ivy commitments here recently as they are done differently of course (Columbia has quietly put together a pretty good women's freshmen class). should probably identify the remaining big names that havent announced yet as its a manageable list at this point. Cieslak might be the biggest name on the girls side. UVA? UNC? NC State? still not sure about her.

Dylan McElhinney is still uncommitted, right? I looked at IG and maybe she is heading to ND. Cieslak NC St maybe?
Cieslak took her visits to Florida, Duke, Virginia, Stanford, and UNC, per chatter around the county XC championship last month. I heard Stanford was the leading contender, but am a bit surprised no announcement has been put out yet.
last I heard Notre Dame was seriously on the radar for McElhinney. theyve been picking up a lot of 2025 athletes though and still have a decent class from the previous year so who knows.
Cieslak grew up wanting to go to Duke. I think she has grown beyond them talent wise though and is deciding between the better schools in that VA/NC region. although shes also looked into Florida and Stanford. shes an east coast kid at heart but would working out with two of the best 800 runners of all time be incentive enough to move to the west coast?
EDIT: nescacmum beat me to it. and I guess that answers my question...

There’s a pretty solid list of top Mormon guys who might go to BYU. None of them have committed anywhere yet and no guys have announced a commitment to BYU yet. That part of recruiting seems to be at a standstill for now with a different timeline at play.
