KT looked like she might cry several times during the race. I do wonder how poorly she felt during that race physically. Just looked sluggish. Glad she didn't give up on it though and got those points for the team.
Big props to Olivia M. from ND for hanging onto third. She is going to be a beast in steeple for the US if she follows her NIL deal to OAC.
KT must really be hurting to not be able to join the team at the interview. She’s a total team player.
I'm a little confused. Did I hear that Valby set a course and meet record? It was mentioned briefly a few minutes after her win. If you sneezed you missed it.
What?! The last thing KT needs right now is an altitude camp; that would crush her. She looks heavy and tired; yes she got 5th in a gutsy run today but she has not looked her best for quite some time now. What she needs now is to rest, regroup, and to move on to a new coach and situation; it seems she has truly enjoyed her college career but she's ridden that as far as she can if she wants to get to the next level.
you're being too literal. not saying she needs to go there this week. but it's time to leave nc state and get into a better training situation. SHe has maximized what she can out of her current situation.
Too literal? Your quote was "Off to altitude camp NOW...". Perhaps you might be more precise in your posts. We agree it is time to leave her college situation.
BYU (1:38 1-5?) and Georgetown (2:09 1-5?)......I looked silly a while back saying BYU would score 350.....and today 399?
BYU went for the win and were leading at 2K. Frentheway came through scoring 12 and their usual #7 scored 50 which is great for her. The other 5 blew up.

Random shout out to the Texas A&M women's team. Whole team is from the state of Texas. No ringers from across the country, or from another country. Old School.
Lol "ringers" from across the country? So now you can't recruit within the country?
The NAU near-miss is even more painful now that I looked at how the top 5 finished. -No. 1 runner: Moved up five spots in the last stretch. She finished 19:35.6. The person in front of her: 19:34.1 -No. 2 runner: Also moved up five spots in the last stretch. She finished 19:36.8. The person in front of her: 19:36.5. -No. 3 runner (Stearns): Dropped one spot in the last stretch. She finished 19:52.2. The person in front of her was far ahead: 19:41.5 -No. 4 runner: Moved up 10 spots in the last stretch. She finished 20:15.1. The person in front her: 20:15.0 -No. 5 runner: Dropped two spots in the last stretch. She finished 20:16.6. The person in front of her: 20:16.1
