When putting times into context, CoolBreeze was a long course - closer to a 5K. Not a 3 miler

Great Cow run was very short. Lots of 2.88 and 2.85’s

So why weren’t Michael and Gabriel Rodriguez from Great Oak racing?

These woodbridge entries are really bad the director didn't do their homework. Rock Canyon, CO showed in recent races that they are the best team in Colorado, and they got put in the rated race. Skyridge, UT showed they are a top 5 team in Utah, and got put into the rated. A few Texas teams also deserve to be in the sweepstakes.

Anyone remember when last year Newbury Park’s 6th-12th runner group was originally put in the sweepstakes? And they were switched to the rated race later? Changes might happen

Rich Prepcaltrack released that it was wheeled at 2.93. If that's the case then top times were 14:32 and 14:34. Course looks weird from the map though, not sure how it raced.

I think Glendora should be in sweeps but also Palisades doesn't seem to be at full capacity. Their one stick should've been better than glendora's by looking at PRs. At a meet like woodbridge that point gap could be made up solely by the one stick since there's so much depth up front. Also Palisades had a 9:21 guy run 15:15 so if it was 2.93 then it would be 15:35 for 3 miles. Another point from great cow is how Millikan performed. Were they missing a core scorer besides Parra? They lost as expected without Parra, but they were really far away score wise from Palisades and Glendora.

There are a few teams that should be in sweeps but got stuck in the rated most notably Rock Canyon, CO. All highlighted teams are the teams that are in the rated race but should be in the sweeps. Every team that is not highlighted is in the sweeps race.

Newbury Park girls might get taken out of the sweepstakes section at Woodbridge. They did not run well last night.

Yes, but it also seems that Hernandez didn’t have a good race because he related his time from last year. They were also running with only 6 guys and there number 3, Fabila, wasn’t racing, I think due to cif transferring rules.

I hope they change the woodbridge sweepstakes startline and add the following teams

Glendora

Eastwood (TX)

Austin Vandegrift (TX)

rock canyon is about the 4th best team in CO right now, behind Valor, Niwot, and Vista.

Austin Vandegrift and Eastwood are both very good teams that need to be put in the sweeps imo

Best race in Northern CA this weekend was Lagoon Valley. VERY challenging course:

Good to see Colton Walker back in form. Two seasons ago he was one of the best 10th graders in California, running 4:13/9:06!! Looks like he got injured in XC last season and missed all of track season. Most people under ranked Vacaville this year because most projections were done solely by last years times. I took a guess he would be back and included his 10th grade times in my rankings, and I had Vacaville ranked #21 in the state. Amazing how much adding a 9:06 runner to your team improves your ranking :)
