The new FSU Head XC/Track coach has completely screwed up the program in less than a year. Rather than hire a Head XC coach, he hires an asst. with little experience and makes him the Head Coach. Then with the track program, he has lost multiple All-American's and has not made up for it with recruiting. Neither XC/Track at FSU will be good again due to the massive changes that have been made by the new coach. Completely ruined what Bob Braman had established with the XC & Track programs.
I know a kid who ran 10.99 and high 21s in 200. He just turned 18. How does someone like him not get recruited? I was blown away when I he told he times. It's verified through Google search. He is still training hard on his own. He is in his first year in college.
These kids leave just because they can, but my ultimate guess is money, money, money, moneeeeeeeyyyyyy, MONEY!!!!!!
There’s no NIL money in NCAA track unless you go to Arkansas, Florida, Texas Tech. Whoever is lying to yall needs to stop. The only money these kids are getting is from cost of attendance based off their scholarship.
If a kid leaves, it’s because they think they deserve more scholarship money or wants a better training environment. There’s more non scholarship athletes than yall think.

Enormous transfer who will make an immediate difference at Florida if he gets his crap together. Seriously one of the most talented sprinters in the NCAA right now.
Believe the SEC has their own transfer rules which would not allow him to compete this year. Therefore I wouldn’t expect him at an SEC school. Also didn’t he get arrested?

Update for anyone curious: He never got his visa, and won't be racing for Oregon this semester as a result.
Thank you for the update! I was wondering why I didn't see him running for Oregon. Imagine if he would've stayed at Auburn and easily crushed the NCAA 4X100 record.
