JFC, he had like 3 separate moments on that last lap where he NEEDED to step out and get a clear path --and he had room to do it, no problem, without wasting any energy-- but he just refused, and then he got stepped on.
One tiny veer to the outside, and he would've been there for that medal.
It's agonizing.
