I think Fisher thought that if he stuck on Ingebritsen’s heels he’d get pulled through for a medal in lane 1. Once he didn’t fight Krop off on the backstretch he still had time pull up on his shoulder. But he stuck to lane 1 with nowhere to go. Bad tactics on Fisher’s part. Mo had nothing to do with Fisher’s attempt to hop around Krop after Krop smartly shut down lane one.

Looked like as Krop slowly closed down toward the rail coming out of the turn, Grant was squeezed down to the rail as well. The outside of Grant’s right leg appeared to hit Krop’s left leg, knocking GF off balance because he had no room to adjust. Hard to blame anything but his own positioning.

Those who are saying GF was running inside and too close to the rail are all absolutely right!

Fisher was definitely squeezed by the Kenyan before stepping on the rail. As others point out. He needs to create his own space. A little elbow to the runner in lane two and Fisher possibly gets 2nd.

I was yelling at the screen in the 10, and again in the 5. How he didn't learn from the 10 is beyond me. Two possible medals pissed down the toilet.
