Your right. Other than a couple of national qualifiers each year, he hasn't had any team success. I won't take away from his ability to coach throwers, as he has a good resume for that, but from a team leadership perspective being in charge for 10 years at an SEC job, it is baffling how he hasn't been let go. MU must just not care about how well track does. But then you add on top of that the other things you mentioned about people not having his back, the now lawsuit settlement, and not to mention the amount of staff turnover that has occurred since he took over (although it has stabilized in the last 3-5 years), you would think those things would hurt him from an administrative standpoint. His ability to survive and keep that job is astounding.
