Obama admin negotiated the Iran Nuclear deal (JCPOA) that allowed inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities and limited enrichment. Trump pulled the US out in 2018 and replaced it with... NOTHING!

The Trump admin has been trying to renegotiate basically the same deal, but Israel decided they couldn't wait for Trump's next great deal that would be done in just 2 weeks. That is because they knew that 2 weeks means never and if there is a deal, it will be vague and unenforceable.

It's starting. Businesses have been doing all they can to manage Trump's 150+ trade policies, but there is a limit to what they can do. Marelli owes Stellantis and Nissan about 3/4 of a billion dollars. Neither of those manufacturers is in a position to have that kind of hole on their balance sheet.

Time is quickly running out for Trump to bring back some certainty to international trade and resolve the few hundred complex trade disputes that he has caused with his Liberation Day. I thought that the economy had enough momentum to give Trump through this summer to clean up his messes. But with the economic impacts of Israel's war with Iran, Trump may not have until the end of July before everything falls apart.
