They have been bombing Gaza nonstop, including VERY questionable targets where hundreds of innocent civilians have been killed in the process. They claim to have been bombing the tunnel system as well, where I would imagine any Hamas that stayed behind in Gaza is hiding with their hostages. I have zero doubt the Israelis have killed hostages at this point. This is becoming a real humanitarian $hit show for Israel and they are losing international credibility by the day. I don't have to tell you that though, just look at protests worldwide and even Biden's rating has taken a hit from an already low point because of this. The world is not ok with giving Israel a carte blanche for bloody revenge that is going to soon take 10,000 lives. This is becoming a bit too obvious.
And to answer your dumb question - I would not want the US military to bomb all of Mexico to hell especially if my family member was being held hostage "somehwere". I would insist they send the damn Seals and Rangers.

My prediction for the coming weeks/months.
The politically flailing Bibi will keep doubling down on mass murder. We will start hearing about Israeli hostages getting killed by Israeli bombs. The IDF will deny it. Their window of opportunity for effectively dealing with Hamas closed the moment those terrorist aholes realized they got away with what they did. They went into hiding immediately and Israel knows this. This is going to be a very unpopular war in Israel and the political pressure will keep mounting for Bibi. He recently blamed his top officials for the security failure and had to take it back after a mountain of criticism. He is on the ropes. Israeli soldiers are now in northern Gaza but there doesn't seem to be any long term strategic plan. They are basically pushing in slowly and calling for more airstrikes. Israel tells Gazans they have to leave hospitals yet they are bombing thousands of people into life support and they will die if they try to move them. They told them to go south and they bombed the passage (even if not intentionally) and continue to bomb those areas where even more civilians are crammed in. They have continue to prevent journalists from entering.. you can guess why.
1,400 Israelis were massacred by Hamas, and now no question thousands of innocent Palestinians have been murdered in exchange, along with hundreds of thousands displaced from their now destroyed homes.. no electricity, no fuel and very little food, water, and basic hospital care. They can't communicate with anyone. Preventing aid to civilians is a war crime.
Hamas exists because of an extremist ideology... how are Palestinians supposed to abandon that ideology now when to them Israel is literally proving Hamas right? If you ask any Palestinian, none of them will say that they think Hamas is responsible for the bombs that Israel is dropping on their loved ones right now. Israel is creating a humanitarian disaster and this is exactly the makings of a new and worse terrorist hotbed. And Hezbollah hasn't even entered the scene yet...
I'm in awe how anyone is looking at this military crusade as justifiable and is fine with it. I think this is at the very least a giant L for Israel and Jews everywhere.
