Be professional and support or profession instead of spreading more rumors or doing all you can to make someone look worse. Lets talk about job openings. This is by far the worse job opening thread I have seen in the past 10 years. Lets lift our profession up, bc this thread def does not!

If your resume laps her, you are overqualified for this job. It's an entry level position with minimal to no coaching. You're better off where you're at now.

Hot take: more would succeed in this sport if we quit eating our young - both the athletes and coaches.
Interesting distance/cross country hire
Problem is I think a lot of athletes or former athlete get on here to bash coaches as well. This profession sucks so many kids who think they are entitled these days. It’s getting worse and you have to baby them. You can be extremely nice and understanding and someone will always come along and attempt to get you fired. Hopefully you are at a place that has your back. Think about that before going into this profession.

I agree and sometimes HCs are put in a bad spot. I believe some schools want to hire inexperienced females because they won’t push the needle they will just babysit and make sure the team shows up for meets they could care less about performance. Since I’ve been in the profession. I’ve looked at tfrrs for many of the female coaches that got jobs over me and I can honestly say my athletes have run head and shoulders above there’s it’s not even close!

You listed women coaches. I asked for women that were only hired because admin said the only factor considered would be the sec if the applicant.

I haven’t glossed over any male hire that was undeserving… Tennessee assistant, Arizona assistant, Iowa states was ok at best. No one is denying that it happens with me and the UT was the worse of all of this dude was working in a different sector with no coaching experience but he’s a white prettyboy. Those females you named, most of them weren’t a forced hire, do you have any idea who Karen Dennis is? You cannot remotely compare her to say the little girl that got the UC Berkeley job. Totally different complete Karen worked for what she has now. Don’t degrade our legends like that. And I can guarantee you named yourself in that list.
Who you didn’t name that maybe got a lil lucky but has been successful is the BYU coach.
