Harris (and Biden) can assure she will win, if they just draft up some alternate elector certificates and make sure they get to her before the VP ceremony on January 6, 2025. There are few Republicans who can complain about that practice and the Supreme Court has essentially said you can't be prosecuted for it anyway. This is slam dunk win if you do it right.

So they report 50/50 to protect their business, deleting any blue blowouts they might be seeing. There have probably been other unexpectedly strong blue polls that get deleted.

Life is funny. I went from a nadir during the Biden/Trump debate to elation at Harris's dominate debate performance. I didn't know it at the time, but Biden's awful debate performance was the best thing for this country.

what if the early biden-trump debate had not happened? Remember it was months earlier than normal and didn't have to happen.
If that early debate had not happened, last night would have been the first trump-biden debate and it would be too late (probably) to switch in Harris.
