true that the Dems decided that the country would be better off with a fast growing, low unemployment, higher inflation/higher debt flight path than the slow growth/recession alternative you seem to be now favoring.
Too early to see how that turns out in the end. Could be that the recessionary economy you are suggesting would have saddled us with larger debts, because of lower tax revenue in a recession. We'll never know.
But let's be clear that right now we are in a great spot, with fast growth, low unemployment, below-average inflation, strong dollar, etc.
Partly because of that bill, the US emerged from COVID as the indisputable global economic all-star. Just about everywhere else is foundering but we are soaring, more dominant than ever. Seems like we did very, very, very well.
