From what I’m hearing Embry has multiple sutures at other places. He’s possible candidate for EIU position being he is alum from there. Would be a good hire, he’s accomplished a lot at both schools.

No he did not. This kind of hiring is why the reason for the minority/female push. Unqualified white male hiring is the worse than female/minority because that is at least a directive. This man did nothing to earn a p5 gig as his first paying job.
Guys I'm going to save you a lot of time. Just go back and read this thread and the 20 other times the same conversation took place.
And I'm going to save ya'll even more time and remind ya'll that Harvey told everyone he's retiring in two years in the interview process, so no one with an actual resume and brain wanted to assist some guy who's never coached before to help take over a dumpster fire only to be canned in two years for what was probably less than $50k a year.
Ya Hear that Doug? Only 2 more years in new mexico and you can be an assistant back at arizona
As much as everyone gets mad about women and minorities being hired to run programs I actually feel sorry for them. Especially for women in charge of an all male staff.
They constantly have to deal with assistants over stepping their positions, second guessing their decisions and even going behind their back.
Guys if your boss is a female just let her lead or leave. You may learn a thing or two. They hired her over you for a reason.

Can we just talk about jobs and stop having the same two conversations over and over again?

This happens everywhere, regardless of whether the head coach is a male or female or white or blue or green.

What’s the issue exactly?
decimation of the last 4 programs. no recruiting, current athletes have transferred out, gotten injured or stopped progressing. Underperformance by athletes at every stop only to continue to fall up into good situations. Doesn't make any sense.

Sounds like a pretty standard gripe with the profession. Happens all the time with others, so atp it is what it is.
Besides, where’s the confirmation of such a move to Ohio State?

Does anyone actually read those long paragraphs about race and gender? Or do you just skip them like I do?

Moves around like a gypsy, lousy coach with no history of good results, lazy as crap to say the least.
Just another day in the life of a lousy coach. Keeps getting big jobs, why?

That's "y'all"--short for "you all."
"Ya'll" would have to mean something like "ya will."
Idk if this was posted cause all of the racial and gender hoopla. Let's do jobs and hires again

If true, this would be a great hire for Louisville.
