Yes, but none of us have a crystal ball. Plenty of reason for pessimism? Of course. On the other hand, could their incompetence hurt them more than we think? Yes. Could the systems and law still make it harder than they think? Yes. Could people resist them more than they expect? I sure as hell hope so.

But publicly ASSUMING at this point that they're going to be broadly/deeply successful is kind of GIVING THEM some of that fear that you're right that they want. I'd prefer not to do that. And yeah, hope springs eternal (.....well.....not really!).
