I don't get the hate towards Philly on this thread. Ok she's a bit annoying but she trains hard and gets results. What more do we want
For her to be less annoying.
Because her videos are like bad children's TV presenters reading an auto queue, she presents herself as a wacky, carefree character, however, continually taking social media breaks for the sake of her and her partner's mental health.
Couple this with gimmicky editing that is quite disorientating - memes, jump cuts, and continually zooming in and out on her face. All this is complimented with outright click-bait bragging video thumbnails.
At first, she's fine. However, over time, her content becomes unbearable as the gimmicks keep withdrawing mental energy from her viewers. I can't imagine she has much in the way of long-term engagement.

Kofuzi generally keeps an even, level-headed tone, but some of his responses to this video's comments come across as irritable and almost confrontational.

In one of the comments he says "there's a lot of angry runners here."
Where? LOL most people are asking about the shoe, which, surprise surprise IS THE EXACT KIND OF VIDEOS YOU MAKE!
Because this guy reviews shoes that makes him knowledgable? I can review cars but I don't know jack about engines... might start a YT channel doing that. "This car has 4 wheels and drives pretty quick. It turned left when I needed and it was a bit easier turning right. Can I recommend this car? Well the answer is; it depends."

Before I was reading this thread I would've considered Kofuzi pretty harmless. I'd watch his reviews sometimes before buying shoes I wasn't familiar with and had some sense of him as an average guy/mid-life marathoner who made decent shoe reviews. I have no idea when that all changed and he became this weird pseudo-celebrity. Thanks to this thread, I actively avoid his reviews and videos but still enjoy following along through the thread posts. It's become like that for a lot of shoetubers honestly.

Maybe he is irritated because his weekend Morocco video was a huge failure. This stupid 100 mile shoe review already has 4k more views than that trip video, and its only been out for a few hours.

Make sure to update it next year when the new model comes out. Wow, now I really like this one - last years model just didn't work for me at all!
Floberg predictions? I think he goes sub 2:30. I don't know that he needs to be much fitter to go sub 2:30 at this McKirdy race when he's run 2:33 at a normal race. But it does seem like he's gotten a little fitter. Weather looks good. There's a 2:30 pacer. If he does go sub 2:30 here, it's his next race I'd be more worried about, if he downplays how advantageous this McKirdy race is. If I ever PR'd at McKirdy, my next goal would be to run the same time at a normal race, unless it felt unusually easy like I accidentally sandbagged it.
Also maybe his narcissism is rubbing off on me but it felt like his last video gave another hint he reads this thread. First it was addressing the treadmill workout paces, now it's talking about having good form at the end of his workouts. If you're reading this, good luck Floberg, but I'm still cheering for 2:30:00. Remember it's just running.

He either runs high 2:28 or low 2:29 or fades into 2:35. My bet is the former. His long run sessions were actually good dispite the puking. Do I think he is a narcissist? Absolutely. But he's most likely got it in the bag. His douchebag friend Clark is going to smoke it too. Maybe flo got some free PEDs from his BPN getaway this week.
Regardless these two arse hats will perform well with the weather and being able to have your own bottles. I really wish I could stop seeing them on the lakefront path so much.

What's your problem with Clark? Seems like an alright dude (aside from being Mormon), his training on Strava is solid, puts in the work.
