There have been zero widespread, actually communicable, and actually deadly diseases in first world countries in the 21st century (I don't count tuberculosis spread by migrants as this). Covid is just a cold for healthy people. My roughly 65 year old, healthy and then unvaccinated parents, both had it and it was like a slightly more severe cold for them. We didn't lock down for normal colds and we sure as hell shouldn't have locked down for covid.
The smallpox vaccine is actually both safe and effective. The covid jab did nothing. I'm vaccinated for polio because it's an actually severe disease.

According to a BMI calculator I found, at my height of 5'11, 178 pounds is the upper edge of normal weight, and 214 is at the edge of obesity. But clearly 178 pounds for someone 5'11" is overweight. So maybe only 10% of Americans are actually healthy.

We are ripe for a “pullback.” Secular inflation tailwinds cultivated by the overstimulus post-Covid era still exist, M2 money supply & velocity is falling (not good), Biden is doing scorched Earth spending on his way out, and the massive budget deficit has been enabled by borrowing at the very short end of the curve so as not to overwhelm the market with 10-year Treasury supply (which would cause rates and mortgage rates to go higher) that will have to be refinanced at much higher rates. But, since you need the narrative to be, but Trump 👆, it will be because the baton is being dropped as we speak. Oh, the market is incredibly overvalued to at 23x earnings. People are dumb.

Stop being a primadonna. Nobody wanted anybody dead, and there was never a Republican dictate, nor cough, cough, mandate. A large majority of those people were extremely overweight with metabolic syndrome, making them sitting ducks as that was a known vulnerability to Covid. They should've been vaccinated, fatties with metabolic syndrome, you'll get no argument from me or anyone really. But, we still had effective therapies for those who couldn't or wouldn't.
Impressive that the only thing you could respond to was natural immunity. However, for those who did, in fact, cultivate it, like myself and family and friends, it should've been recognized by our Democratic leadership, instead of trotting out stupid and narrow studies like the one in Kentucky trying to suggest breakthrough infection was far more common in the unvaccinated. Just dumb.
