Try getting hired as a Hispanic! We are 20-25% of the US population and we are barely reflected on the coaching ranks.
I was actually going to say that I don't really see a range of diversity in hiring. It seems primarily focused on one minority group or one gender. It's all crap. Hire on qualifications and culture fit, not race, be it white, black, hispanic, asian, etc., or gender. Interview the top candidates, regardless of race or gender. Make the best choice from those top candidates based on who will do the best job reaching the goals for the program and who is the best culture fit.
For the person who said I should sue, you are not wrong, but that would probably end my ability to ever get hired anywhere, right? Which is probably why nobody sues for these things, be it a white male or a person of another race or gender. We all still want the opportunity to get a coaching job again.
And for the typo, keyword, reputation person, none of those were or would be an issue.
