I was in a bar this evening, listening to a band, and the sound-man told me an interesting story. He said, "see that young woman dancing in front of us - well, a guy came up to her and said, 'how are you doing?' and she turned around and grabbed his c*ck. The guy just ran off".
What he described to me was clearly an indecent assault, and of a more intimate and direct nature than that committed by the runner in the highly-publicised incident we've been discussing on this thread. According to some views here, she should at least be charged with a criminal offence, maybe go to jail and even be physically beaten up - as some posters have said they would have done to the runner who groped the reporter.
But no charges will be laid, there won't be anything on Twitter or the tv news and it won't give rise to feverish discussion on social media sites like this. The guy left without saying anything. Was he traumatised or humiliated? I don't know but I suspect he was a little taken aback and certainly lost for words.
If we apply the same views as have been expressed here about the incident involving the tv reporter there should be expressions of public outrage, the young woman 'perpetrator' should be compelled to publicly beg forgiveness and then be subject to the full force of the law through the courts. She is, after all, a criminal. Isn't she?
