14:51 is no joke. Wow.
I just think this message board has been pretty dry this year. It's been nothing but "crickets"
Trolls have been lackluster and no one engages them. Let's step it up folks

You sound triggered. 14:51 wouldn't be able to walk on at most D1s.
Last year, there were 1,669 D1 men who ran the 5000m outdoors. Of those runners, 708 of them broke 15:00, and only 561 broke 14:51. The median SB time for a D1 male 5K runner in 2018 was 15:08 (avg. 15:13).
I'd be pretty confident in saying that a 14:51 guy could run at most D1 programs.

Okay these past few posts are all dumb anyway because Patel ran a 13:51 not a 14:51
13 Morgan, Greg SR Haverford 3:48.10 New 1500m Leader
2 Schott, Benjamin SR Messiah 8:53.74 New Steeple Leader

Great time for D3 but only good time if we don’t use the qualifier “D3”. Kid will be able to make a few thousand bucks at road races over the coming years and will be an idol for D3 fans for several years.
This was probably a D3 troll who wrote this. It’s sad when Patel can run an all-time mark in D3 and it’s crickets. If this were anyone from any other college this would be 3 pages of talk. You all are so salty at NCC’s success.
It's quiet because he already ran 14:00 or faster twice. We expected him to run this fast.
I'm just doing the math on Patel's 14:51 5k.
If that's legit then he ran faster than 3 minutes per 1K.
71 point per lap!
Once again he ran 13:51 not 14:51

You keep claiming this yet refuse to provide a source. Until we see otherwise I will continue to believe 14:51.
Patel ran 14:51? Man hopefully he didn’t get hurt.
13:51 is not fast hahahaha
btw im D1 if you couldnt tell , and have run this pathetic time in workouts
13:51.40 would be 37th in the country, all divisions. His 10k would also be 20th, all divisions. I am sure he has the respect of 99.9% of all college runners because he would beat 99.9% of them all.
Willing to bet you were a 4:20/9:25 “D1 scholarship athlete (books)” who is insecure he is running 14:50’s for 5k. Watching those you used to beat in HS run faster times now.

I'm not an athlete, I'm a recruit.
I heard he rolled his ankle on the rail on the 7th lap. Shame too, because he was on pace to break 14. Limped it home.
I heard aliens abducted him with 800 to go... it’s a shame he couldn’t run faster than that pathetic time. I’ve run faster than that while fighting off aliens during a workout. I’m D1 if you couldn’t tell
Most Overrated D3 XC/TF Programs??

Agree with all of this, especially WashU. They're consistently contending for the podium but have never won a national championship. Very overrated. Time to move on and let the underdogs play for once.
